The general lighting inside the coaches is provided by 110V AC or 110V DC or 24V DC supply with battery back-up system. During extreme emergencies like derailment, accidents... etc or at times when the regular supply system fails, it causes total darkness inside the coach. To facilitate easy exit for passengers and their immediate rescue during such situations, this Emergency Light System provides illumination. These lights are located in the coaches at the passage (2Nos) and on the doorways (1 each).
