One of the MIC's solutions is to provide Networked Displays being used by
Advertisement Agencies, Road & Rail transport organizations and Airports.
This solution makes the Advertiser's life easy in interacting with the their
customers in handling with CONTENT, SCHEDULING & BILLING.
At a central place the video feed may be from multiple sources like Video
Camera, VCP, DVD Player, DTH .etc and output of the Video source is connected
to Video Server. The functionality of the video server is to have dynamic
selection of the video and the process of digitization of the input video for
further up-stream application requirement. At central place in addition to the
dynamic video sources a separate server with large disk space functions as
Digital Video Content store.
Display Server consists of Video Management Software and Event Scheduler
Software for the use by the operator/administrators of Event Management
to define the schedules of different video contents. Each of the Display system
is associated with DCU (Display Control Unit). All the DCUs are
connected to the central place over private WAN or VPN over public network.
There is an NMS Software which can be hosted optionally on a separate server or
on same Display Server. This is responsible to make call the Fault &
Configuration management of the Display Boards ( Network Elements ) and this
also monitors for Fault, Alarm & Configuration Management for the elements
which make Data Communication Network for total solution.
NMS server contains maintains and analyses the events executed by each of the
connected Display Boards which provides all the support information for the
Usage Based billing for the end-customer.
